Hey, I'm not saying that I care, personally. I burn CDs for myself and people all the time. I let people borrow movies, games, music, etc. Just letting everyone in on a fact that I learned the day before.

I guess libraries and video rental stores are violating as well, then. Yeah, that's actually called a "bailment," which is paying someone for short-term ownership of a product. Rental stores are charged more than the standard 50 or so bucks for a game because they have to buy a license and the company lets them rent out their product to make money. With crappy games, though, the rental place usually gets screwed on the money and then they have to rely on stupid and gullable people to rent those games.

  3. The Phantom at E3 2004 on HardOCP Wins Against Infinium Labs · · Score: 2, Interesting

I saw the Phantom at E3 2004. Played it for a little bit. I've never seen a system get that much of a poor reception anywhere, ever, by anyone. It was funny as hell to see them try to explain it crashing so much and they wouldn't show us the "cool things it could do" that they kept talking about. They did have the biggest individual booth of the show, though. Maybe they thought gamers had no standards?
