There are competent anti-spam solutions available. From the open source spam-assasin to commercial products based on spam-assasin to commercial products based on independent engines from Nokia or tethernet.com (TetherFilter), for example. It always amazes me how many people I talk to still have a spam problem but remain unaware of competent solutions on the market.
