I work for an email security company. Let's just say SPF is great and all, but it's never going to hit the rate of acceptance needed to thwart this neverending garbage.
BATV might be what you're talking about (Bounce Address Tag Violation) which is starting to see some implementation around the email scene.
You've never been pulled over wrongfully? I have. It's called "getting gunned before the sign" to meet their ticket quotas.
There's really nothing you can do in court to prove it unfortunately, because they'll show up with the radar gun that says you were going 40. They'll say you were past the 25mph sign and you can guess where it goes from here.
Fortunately, I was not half way across the country. But if I were this is not an okay tactic.
Solutions?
1. Get rid of these dishonest cops.
2. Second best solution is implementing some type of phone hearing.
I suppose likewise it could be said that movie titles should be the same way to some extent.
Some will say, "Well no, a movie should be creative because it's more a work of art and expression than software."
And on the flip side people will agree software is creative expression too.
But either way, the redefinition of program naming standards shouldn't be brought about by the damn MPAA
I'm liberal. I care that both are doing this and will call out both until it stops.
