I've traveled to Europe, Mexico, Canada. I know dozens of people who regularly travel to Singapore, China, Japan, India, Malaysia, South America and a host of other regions.
oh, thats cause haliburton is the only company on the planet that does what they do. Who do you propose for rebuilding international oil infrastructure?
Haliburton is NOT the only company that builds oil infrastructure. The majority of oil infrastructure throughout the world was NOT BUILT BY HALIBURTON. However, Bush has denied these other entities from bidding in the rebuilding efforts (Only countries who supported the military action are allowed to participate in the reconstruction efforts).
Where's the fair bidding process? Where's the free market capitalism?
oh, and your nickname sucks. enron no longer exists. did you know that?
But the point is that they did exist, they had very strong connections to the President during the 2000 elections.
or are you just parroting what your liberal masters have brainwashed you with?
BWAK! Polly wants his freedom back! BWAK!
enron started their shenanigans under CLINTON, they were brought down under BUSH. now what does that tell you?
But they weren't brought down BY Bush, they were brought down in SPITE of Bush. Also, it's been more then 3 years since Enron's bankruptcy, why hasn't the CEO been brought to court yet? Is Ashcroft hoping that we will forget?
ok, sure, there are things like disk breaks, air conditioning, etc. But then there is crap like a stereo with too many buttons, the electronic bit in my steering wheel that caught fire a few months ago...
With cars becoming more like semi-intelligent robots every year
Yeah man! I can't wait to see all the programming errors in these new cars!
Everytime someone introduces new technologies new problems and bugs are introduced also. The rear right passenger electric window in my car fails to open when the temperature outside goes over 90F. The mechanic spent an hour diagnosing the problem and couldn't find a cause, but he can replace the switch & window motor for $300. My god!
Give me a classic mustang, add a catalytic converter and some pollution controls, and then a few add-ons which don't affect the Mustang's performance: Stereo, nice speakers, and I'll be satisfied.
History will be the ultimate judge. Because of our Bush's idiocy, the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan are rapidly declining, and Bush is failing to fix it. Even top level Republicans admit that the situation is dire, and Bush sits with his finger up his ass and big smile on his face telling us that the situation is improving.
Paris to tell us when we can defend ourselves.
Defend ourselves against who? What threat did they pose? They were a destitute third world nation who couldn't stand up for a week against the US military. What threat did they pose?
Where are your fucking WMD? A "Capability" to make WMD? Give me a break, there are 100 countries with a "Capability", and there always have been. Should we invade them all?
Yup, but sarin laced shells have been found in Iraq.
And what are you suggesting? That Iraq was planning to attack an American city with those?
Those Sarin laced shells are leftover from the 1980's, when Iraq was an Ally with the US. Need I remind you These photos?
Italy, Poland, GB, Japan, Korea, and for a time the Phillipines, Spain,... Disagree with you
Not sure if you've noticed, but Spain, Italy & the Phillipines have all pulled out. I think they agree with me.
The Phillipines commited 51 people! Japan committed 500 people. Gee whiz! Some international coalition you have there.
Poland and the UK are the only countries on your that list with a sizeable addition
When I was 8 years old I played with an AI program called Eliza on a teletype machine.
My 8 year old friend and I were convinced for about 30 minutes that this was a real person on the other side.
It's been a long time since those days, adn AI programs have only gotten more convincing. I've seen bots do pretty well in Counter Strike, to the point where several players thought that the Bots were real people.
In poker, you are talking about alot of money. Money is motivation to create a poker AI. Online poker is mostly about statistics anyways, and a computer is great at figuring out odds.
Bush is not good in situations where an unexpected topic is being covered, my personal belief is he is not a good public speaker (not a sign of stupidity)
If you feel sorry for your President, then that person isn't a very strong leader.
Public speaking and the ability to debate are two very important skills for a President. You need to be able to convince other countries that your side is right. Bush has failed to do that, in part because he's a horrible speaker.
During this Iraq war,
- Bush FAILED to convince the international community and America on the presence of WMD in Iraq.
- Bush FAILED to convince our allies to come to our side, some of whom have been our ally for over 50 years.
As a result, our "Strong coalition" consists of 90% American soldiers and the American taxpayers are funding 90% of cost to rebuild Iraq, which is now at over $200 billion. The UK makes up another 5%. Big fucking whoop.
I'm sure that the people who thought up the toll free number alternative know that toll free numbers are hard to use overseas. That's the point.
(Not just France, I've had to deal with toll free numbers in UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic).
Probably because he's been outside the USA.

All of them are far more liberal then I am.
