Uh... You make it sound like python invented that style. It didn't. Most java coders i know put braces like that. Alot of c-coders too, or well at least the smart ones;)

Bookmark synchronizer. Works i guess.. can upload/download your bookmarks to/from http or ftp.
I wrote a php-script to handle the data from/to it.

I dont see why this is news. Most GPS devices uses NMEA which is trivial to parse.
