Fair enough, But how many developers play there own games?
Serious question I have only known one person on a development team and his product never saw the light of day because "the game sucked".
Personally I don't play WOW or any other MMORPGs.
I have a hard time believing that the majority of my friends who are into racing games or even FPS games are going to jump ship to MMORPGs any time soon.
I have no doubt there are people who will play WoW instead of other single player games. I doubt it will affect the many need for speed / colin mcrae rallyers ffrom purchasing the latest installment though.
Perhaps the biggest problem is the decline in good quality single player games on PC that aren't just console ports that have been released on XBOX/PS2 6 months earlier that accounts for poor software sales for PC.
