You say oh well look this can distribute illegal software. Well what about every other protocol that is used for illegal distributing. Should FTP be illegal, you can search and find piracy all over that. Even on plain http? Here is a great example why its good. twit.tv, Leo and the guys podcast hundreds of thousands of people download that weekly there is no possible way they could handle that on a small budge without p2p like bittorrent. Bittorrent has a lot of good and people are always looking at the bad sides of things.
