Hmm. I'd be concerned about a physician that would recommend phone numbers for funeral homes after telling me I've reached my peak.
This reminds me of the old joke that says something about all the money out there that Bill Gates doesn't have yet.
I kind of doubt the PC has peaked yet...there are still billions of people who don't have one, almost entirely because they can't afford it or think they don't need it, but the ceiling has been dropping for years. It will soon come to a point when affordability of a PC will be compared (at least on the level of necessity) to that of a home, car, or even clothes.
So if they are all gung-ho about this new technology, how do they expect it to match sales long-term? 3-D has been tried before, several times, and is only appealing for a little while, until the novelty wears off and people realize it's a fucking gimmick.
Besides, as far as I can tell, this new technology can't translate to DVD/any-other-form-of-consumer-owned-media, so do they really expect to make that much on theater sales alone? Lucas, of *anybody* in Hollywood, should be advocating a technology that will be easily transferrable into homes for years to come, not limited solely to theaters.

Why is that bad? Because people who are less knowledgeable about HTML and Javascript have nothing else important to say?
The only well-presented websites are not only presented by, but composed by professional web programmers?
I'd have to think that there are at *least* one or two people out there that are smart, but don't know anything about web scripting. Probably.
Keep in mind that almost anybody can get a license with minimal effort in America.
It's not nearly as easy to get a driver's license in Europe - I've been told that in Germany, the written driver's test alone is practically a book, and takes several hours, as does the practical test. It's many pages, as opposed to the single/half page written multiple choice/multiple attempt joke here in California.
I don't know about Japan.
Besides, HD is never going to be anywhere near "f2f" until they perfect HD Smell-o-rama.
Of course, that might not be so great for the porn industry. Eew.

Are you saying we should have allowed Saddam to continue to slaughter Iraqi kurds by the tens or hundreds of thousands? Is it not better to risk killing a few to prevent not only the death but the certain torture of thousands more?
Was not Saddam openly offering $25k to the family of each suicide bomber to blow up Israelis and Americans, in the name of Palestine, anywhere in the world?
You can tell by the fact that he wears socks with sandals that he's not trying very hard to hide his geekosity with fashion.
