This isn't the first time Apple has used codenames to signify the different revisions of OS-X.
10.2: Jaguar
10.3: Panther
Last time I checked, they didn't use these codenames for any other product references (Jaguar Hard Drive, Panther Ram). I can't see the marketing value is Tiger DVD Burner, it just doesn't sound good. Apple will rarely if ever do anything that doesn't market well.

"And Saint Atila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'Oh, Lord, bless this thy hand grenade that with it thou mayest blow thy enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy.' And the Lord did grin, and people did feast upon the lambs, and sloths, and carp, and anchovies, and orangutans, and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats, and large.."
Your credit smells to high heaven for 7 years and for those 7 years further protection isn't available, but anything discharged is wiped clean.
In a perfect world, Yes. In our world, No. While a good thing for some, Consumer Credit Protection regulations are relaxed to the level that some have been successful at removing bankrutcy from their credit reports. You aren't (to my knowledge) able to remove the bankruptcy from your public record but given enough requests, you can get them removed from all 3 credit bureaus.
Has anyone else ever caught themselves carrying on multiple, overlapping conversations while talking on the phone with someone they usually chat with through IM? An extension of this observation would be regularly interupting or speaking over the opposite party.
Perhaps the use of text based IM discussions have a distinct advantage in conversation based on their capability of handling multiple, distinct conversations at once.
I was starting to wonder if anyone saw this the same way I do. I believe that "if" this is a leak, the intent or atleast the end result, is news regarding Dr. Who made it onto Wired,/., and other major news sources that would have most likely skipped over the series had their been nothing happen to it. Bad Publicity is still Publicity and has given some daylight to the new series in ways that wouldn't have happened if no leak had been made.
A US soldier charging into a building in full Klingon battle gear swinging a Batleth is exactly what we need. The insurgents would finally realize that our insanity is much more deeply ingrained and that they could never truely fight us on our own turf. The end of this war would come shortly after.
I'll paraphrase a quote that I read in an interview from the producers of the upcoming HHGG movie:
"The appeal of HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that when you read it you feel like you understand it better than anyone else who has ever read it."
I think this quote fits very appropriately to both the book and Douglas Adams. His writing can "get into your head" as if he can read your mind. While reading HHGG you can almost predict what is going to happen next. Its not like a poorly written movie that lacks creativity, Adam's work is like he wrote it just for you the way you would have written the book for yourself if you had the time and talent.
I encourage anyone who has not read HHGG to run out and pick up a copy. You will not be disappointed.
