  1. kiosk manufacturers are the culprits on Photo Kiosks Infecting Customers' USB Devices · · Score: 5, Informative

I did own an Agfa Photo Kiosk. It didn't have an AV by default and it ran "Windows XP embedded edition" that prevented me from installing an AV (installers didn't allow me to do an install.). I saved a raw image of the hard disk for safety and allowed it to infect customers. It was a security nightmare. Viruses had their way into the machine, but AV software didn't. Autorun was a requirement for the kiosk software to process photos and could not be disabled.

I do. That's all you need to know. If someone tampers our favorite torrent client, I would post it in my blog and send it to slashdot, then you get a patched version and we are all happy again.

That is the point, it is too easy to point malware in Free Software, it is not worth to try.

In Spain we have "Private Copy Right" granted by Constitution that forbids Penal cases against copyright infringement (in absence of lucre). Discovery causes can't be Civil, so copyright infringement is not illegal. That is not inflexible or narrower than the "fair use" doctrine. The war over the lucre definition is over and we won.

  4. Re:Are we all singing off the same songsheet on Legalize File Sharing, Say Swedish MPs · · Score: 1

Spain is a torrent heaven. We pay a tax named "canon digital" that grants us "right of private copy", so nobody gets sued and most traffic goes unfiltered. Same may happen to swedish.
