  1. Competing with a competitor who doesn't pay tax!! on Four EU Countries Seek Higher Taxes On Google and Amazon (reuters.com) · · Score: 1

The international constructions current in place in the EU and outside allow these multinationals to legally not pay taxes. That gives them an unfair advantage to a market, that should be open to all with good ideas and willing to work hard. I can't believe they will succeed in changing this since the E.C. is walking on the leach of the multinationals. Nevertheless it is noting but fair that every citizen of a society contributes their share to taxes. And wealthy citizens doing business here in europe, are no exception to that.

No, I don't feel different about that. It just should NOT state something that is NOT true. If something is brute forcing, other mechanisms are to be activated. And if it "guesses" the password right, it should assume it is me.

A computer should not be allowed to lie !!!!! No reason to make it lie is a good reason. If it is part of a moronic security guideline then it should just say "fault fuck off", instead of providing incorrect information.

When my computer's OS lies by stating a username/password combination is wrong, when actually the account has been (temporary) disabled. Or the prompts I get in my company lately where sometimes I should login with domain\username, sometimes usename, and sometimes email address and password. What moron feels that there should not be an indication of what it wants? In general I get the impression software nowadays is seen as being good, when it replies with a message, even if that message has no relation to what is actually going on. Sorry, if an application can't be bothered to give an accurate message then let it just say "fault fuck off".

You don't see what I mean. Imagine you look out the window but the glasses detect/focus on the window/curtains itself, you will not see who is standing outside. The glasses will have to look at your eyes and adjust to be useful. Unless you are using them as reading glasses and what no adjustment for further away.(limited application)

  7. Glasses cannot focus without looking at the eye on Scientists Create Electronic Glasses That Can Automatically Focus On Whatever You're Looking At (engadget.com) · · Score: 5, Interesting

Glasses can try to adjust the focus based on the perceived distance, but cannot know you are not looking at the wall, but at the fly hoovering between you and the wall. So without looking at the eye trying to focus this is pretty useless.
