    And ... how many of those devices use a touch screen and really needed more "windows ink"?

    Microsoft has lost the plot. Seriously.

    The first thing I do for anybody unfortunate enough to be running Windows 10 is install a copy of Classic Explorer.

    Not yet, but in UK it seems that the restricted areas keep proliferating. There's a park near my work that just put up "this is a smoke-free zone" signs, and this is in the open air. Ridiculous. But I digress.

    Only "ridiculous" to the people who said it was "ridiculous" to not smoke in bars/restaurants.

    Fine, so let them smoke at home, in their cars, the spaces they own. In public? They're almost never alone. There's usually somebody within smoking distance and nobody appreciates the trail of butts they leave behind them.

    Also: Opening a door, taking three deep drags on a cigarette and throwing the butt to the floor behind you as you come inside and breathe out? Not welcome.

    No, but not many people fart proudly in public. Society/culture mostly tells them it's wrong.

    Smokers, OTOH, are oblivious to their condition and will happily sit near other people who are trying to eat. They often pop out for a quick one during the meal to reinforce their miasma.

    This is almost, but not quite, as stupid as people who watch cellphone video of a movie, at home, when it is released.

    I was on the metro the other day and there was a girl watching a movie on her cellphone. It was a letterboxed movie and she was holding the phone vertically so only the middle few pixels of the screen were being used.

    The temptation to lean over and rotate the phone 90 degrees just to see the look on her face was strong, but I figured "no", somebody _that_ stupid doesn't deserve to have their life improved.

    I know we're all basement-dwelling loners on here but can't a single one of you imagine more than 2 people for the $50 viewing?

    If you've got 4 (or more) friends (LOL!) then the $50 option is really cheap, especially since you can provide your own nachos and popcorn.

    I came here thinking the thread would be about piracy. I'm leaving disappointed.
