I'm curious how "2's Compliment" representation can be considered "Somewhat Oddly".
It is _the_ monst common method of representing negative numbers on fixed point (ie integers) on the planet.
The reason is quite simple: You can perform arithmetic without having to adjust for signs or check for them. The only thing you need to do is check for overflow, which can be done automatically.
This results in tremendous speed advantages over systems such as signed magnitude.
I disagree. UNSW had an advantage due to the faster walk, but it is clear to see that the AI level was quite good as well. Have a look at the robocup challenge results, which UNSW also won, (by only 1 point though). A team which is winning only by its gimmick is not likely to win a competition involving ball skills, after all a fast moving robot will find it harder to control the ball.
During the true competition UNSW had only one goal scored against them - an own goal... Seems like the goalie AI was pretty good too...
Assuming this isn't a long planned april fool joke, the main question is what can we do to show our support? Email,/.ing of sites, snailmail? To who - saying what?
And it contains the Australian Capital, Canberra.
Ask the ACT government if you don't believe me:

So what you are saying is that all the exploits in IIS are written by the Apache authors? And Linus is responsible for exploits in windows?

give or take
Specifically Wizards don't use the name TSR at all. Also the nomrlally refer to themselves as Wizards and yes, they are owned by Hasbro.
Of course the real challenge for the hard core D&D player is: What did TSR stand for?
TSR = They Sue Regularly?
Anyone but me notice that the FAQ page bears the title:

I think you are knocking them for no real reason.
http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~robocup is the UNSW site of the challenge.
BTW: According to HTTP headers the article was posted on the 6th of August.
One good thing is that it hasn't reached Australia yet.
