This is what happens when you get a bunch of Phd's at a screening for "just a movie" -- what the rest us normal people simply find enjoyable.
From the article:
"Still, the final third of the film could not keep up my hopes for something truly memorable. For example, the whole audience broke out into disbelieving titters when old Yoda -- the green-asbestos oven mitt -- suddenly started flying around the room, whirling a light saber."
Don't worry David, I'm with you on the mistrust of Yoda theme -- but if you didn't relish that part of the movie maybe you were in the wrong theater; perhaps "the three wives club" would be more to taste?
I've been installing and using Webramps since ~1997. This has been old technology for quite some time -- and given the list price on this "new" box, I doubt they'll be flying off the shelves:)
It won't natively, but I've got Win2K/Exchange2k running very nicely on a linux box using VMWARE:)
Of course, the box in question has 640MB of ram, so that probably helps...I dedicated 2 LVD Ultra160 Cheatahs to a W2k mirror specifically for Exchange (running as raw disk access in VMWARE), but am not really sure how much this affects performance. The client response time/webmail performace is great so far, and I've yet to have a crash (uptime ~ 1mo / knock on wood).
Integrating the W2k box with an otherwise *nix shop (dns, web, sendmail, etc...) was where things got interesting. Unless W2k w/Active Directory gets to manage the primary dns (currently and probably forever on linux), it gets pissy:)
I say, use the best tool for the job, and being educational, you can't beat ~$400 for exchange server...:)
