    Thats a reminder ,why i hate RPGs:
    You have to work to play,newbies "play" right away(just killing lvl1 rats for weeks isn't playing).
    Better players needs better ingame items/spells and learn the subtle mechanics to "play".
    Every other genre allows you to start playing in several minutes,without all the grind/levels/accumulated ingame bling.

    Exactly.Copyrighted and patented stuff has no intrinsic physical value whatsoever.
    The real cost of a production/transmission/storage is what it worth.A copy is fine too.

    Service isn't available for free,its has tangible value(real human work).Tech support and maintaince.
    Not another copy thats blesssed by copyright(and makes every other copy illegal).A replica of the same bytes and bits.

    What is the difference between a licensed CD copy and unlicensed copy? What values it has that unlicensed doesn't?
    A fake Rolex watch,that is copy of the expensive original? Does it measures time worse?

    'Nothing wrong with religion'.If wasn't for religion most of those morals have evaporated away,resulting in more liberal society.Humanity,unfortunately hasn't yet outgrown of religion.Christianity,Islam,Buddhism etc all have heavy objections against sex,fundamental to the faith.

    Start selling sea water,its a better carreer choice.At least you can be sure its not going to be copied.

    US sattelite probably infringed on Chinese airspace.
    From the Chinese viewpoint they own not only the land but the entire column of space above it.

    US should train sharks with lasers attached to their heads to counter this threat.
    Mobile,virtually undetectable and best of all cheap.

    But here we see the truth - Slashdot who screams the loudest when $MEDIA_MEGACORP tramples on *their* (assumed) rights - bellows equally loudly when their own ox is gored.

    You contrast freedom of modifying pages with legal rights.Comparision

    Comparing DRM/Fair use and the ability to design pages in some site.Really stupid.
    Learn the difference:Fair use is a legal right,
    Myspace restrictions work on Myspace.
    You don't go to jail for circumventing MySpace rules for page design,the most you get a closed account.MySpace pages designed by common users,cannot be standartized.So stop crying.
    Your legal rights and freedoms are not suffering because of editing restrictions that are exclusive to MySpace.
    Why the parent post is insightful is a mystery.
