Oi, no need to be rude now. These people have no reason to lie about it. In any case, SOMEONE is doing it, and they shouldn't be allowed to while at work.

Actually, that's a good point. I know some people who have trouble with their interns downloading illegal files at work.

Oh yes, as if the conservatives are being tolerant. There are as many liberals accused of being heathens as there are conservatives accused of being rednecks. I'm not saying it's right, but the flaming comes from both sides.

That doesn't seem to be a fair thing to say. Maybe for some people, the Toy Story movies have a special place in their hearts that other cartoons can't replace. Not everyone has the same tastes, you know.

I, for one, do not understand why Pixar is given such a vaunted status. The origibal Toy Story was something new and they deserved praise, but ever since they have just been re-jigging the formula

Ever since? As in, you mean Toy Story 2 which was nothing like the first Toy Story? Finding Nemo? The Incredibles? I don't think that's re-jiggling the formula. What Disney's been doing with their unnecessary sequels is re-jiggling the formula. Without Pixar, they will most DEFINITELY re-jiggle the formula. Pixar is the original company, and Disney is not. That is why Pixar has a "vaunted status".

Actually, I mostly downloaded it because it has a web developer add-on that I find mighty useful (I believe the same add-on is available for normal Mozilla also). I also find it's javascript debugger to be a lot more informing. It locates errors much more accurately than IE does, plus it doesn't "break" all the time and need to be reinstalled to work again.

I never used Firefox on the mac. Camino, as previously stated, is what I use.

That seems a little off topic to me, as we're not really talking about Safari here. I don't think it was mentioned anywhere that Safari was better than Firefox.

I, however, do not prefer Safari to Firefox. As a web designer, I find Safari to be a bit of a nuisence (I find all browsers to be a nuisense - they all have pesky problems that need to be dealt with). The newest version is a pretty decent browser, but I wouldn't say it's all that much better than Firefox is (if it's better at all).

It would probably be interesting to see some stats of what browsers are hitting the site right now. When someone hits the download page, it should store their current browser in a log. That would show how many of the people were already on a mozilla-based browser and how many are potentially converting from IE.

I was going to say something to that effect, but I didn't want to be that person.

In any case, if you look at population maps and compare them with the ever popular "purple" maps, it's easy to see that the places with heavy populations (read: cities) had more Kerry votes. However, the bulk of the US is rural and thus their smaller populations really add up. So, Bush won.
