    You can now. Creat a smart keyword for it in Firefox.

    01. Go to Maps.google.com
    02. Right click in the main text area search box
    03. Select "Add a keyword for this search"
    04. Type in a name (ex. Google Maps)
    05. Type in a keyword (ex. map)
    06. Save it in a folder in your bookmarks

    Now type "map LAX to ONT" in your location bar in firefox and presto.
