I thought those "coal plants" were in Texas?? Unless there is more than I thought which won't surprise me. I know there is some windmills being add in west Texas(my brotherin-law drives a truck & is transprorting the blades - well one blade at a time since that is all that will fit on an over oversized load - they usually run in groups - too bad the picture I had of one is on the computer that crashed)
Where is Google located now?? if they are in CA then moving them out might be a great idea since getting any type power plant is a pain. I agree with the treehuggers on the no coal but you do have to balance keeping people from dying with that.
you know - Disney would try to make money off of them while the theaters, clubs & vendors would watch them & make sure they got to where they should be (unless they are into child porn)
They are 21 months apart - the oldest was talking at 18 months - nothing wrong as far as anyone can tell. within that month he stopped & the other one was due 3 months later. Autism doesn't run in my family - I had never heard of it until he turn 3.
good thing you posted as a coward because that was uncalled for & very mean. Why don't you try being nice to someone or at least learn some before thinking that - if I would had them knowing that it could happen then I would agree with you. Autism is on the rise & I want to know what causes it - the people trying to figure it out don't know & there are people with it that have normal kids.
My kids are 7 & 9 - they still Winnie the Pooh & they get to watch alot of Disney stuff. My nick here is my AIM & gmail name. I don't mind talking about my kids if you really want to talk about their problems.
The worst of the non-talking is at 3 am when they start fussing. You have to figure out if it was a bad dream where they just need a hug & want you sit with them or if they want something to drink or if they are sick. Most of the time they point at things or bring something to me so I know what they want.
The oldest will only use a computer if it has a certain trackball but he does pre-school level things while the youngest will use a mouse & is up to 1 grade but still doesn't get the ABC's down yet. I'm thankfully for computers because they show that my boys can do things.
I did math this morning - I balanced my checkbook - I know that is basic math which is something everyone needs to be able to do before writing out the bills or shopping
I'm glad I'm not the only person to get rid of the cable but I do watch VCR tapes & DVDs - but I choose what to rent or buy. If I don't like something then I do turn it off.
As a mom of two non-verbal kids with Autism, I have to be picky. I think more parents should be but I have seen R rate stuff on at other parent's houses with the kids watching. Then you hear of kids doing crazy things & they say "but we saw it on TV"
I'm seeing more movies that really aren't worth buying. They seem to have a group of rent once & don't bother seeing again. I think better plots would help alot.
I'm making bath soaps & salts & grew luffa sponges for gifts this year - also putting together the soup jars & maybe cookie mixes.
I'm hoping to have a sweater knitted in time at least get a few scarves made.
I think making gifts means alot more to the adults - kids & teens don't seem to really care as long as they get something that they think is cool.
makes me wonder when they are going to add what job this person got & how long did the keep it.
I can't see the govt stopping on just that - what is next??
I hope that made the parent take a look at what they were buying for their kid. Things like that should make the parents ask why & them check out the game before letting the kid have it.
*giggles* I don't even trust the city mayor to do anything right (well except to cut the red ribbon at a grand opening)

Most first kids are born a week late - do stay home in bed - you will need the rest for after the kid is born

I'm a Texan - I'm also a female that loves math.

Hey, I like Piggly Wiggly - it is great for picking up a few items. They are higher than Wal-Mart but you can get in & out alot faster.
