I will be the first to admit my chemisty is limited, but I am currently taking general chemisty three. We just started taking a close look at reduction oxidation reactions. We actaully learned about batteries and the the energy is all in the transfer of electrons from one species of chemical to another, and almost anything can be used as a battery. The trick is to make usefull batteries.

This is off topic so feel free to mod me down. I must take issue to the poster sig. I belive that it is based no a faulty logic. Peace never comes from allowing evil to triumph. Did you not see The Lord of The Rings? Was France peaceful when Germany invaded in WWII? The idea that fighting is a polar oppisite of peace is very wrong. Will you have peace when you lay down to those we seek your destruction? If you think that no one is evil or likes war you are ignorant. There is always the possibility that some sick and twisted person is in a possition of power and has determined that a group of people need to be destroyed. I think Sam said it best in The Two Towers when he said "There is good in this world Mr. Frodo and it is worth fighting for."
I have always thought that the government should own the infastructure and rent/lease it to private bussinesses. That way the service the consumer pays for is operating in a competitive market. Then the government can let free market forces regulate the services. It is possible that the government could turn a proffit doing this. --- Note: All spelling and gramatical errors are used to add flavor to a otherwise dull message.
No there really are windows fans. I work with a guy who thinks that windows is the only real option. But then again he thinks that VB is the best programing language ever.
Speaking of ammo cases and crossing borders. I was attending school in Canada for a while and I would routinely take my computer home with me (to the US) on breaks. I carried all my cords, keyboard, mouse, etc. in a rocket ammo case. Not once did a border guard even look inside of it.
I find it interesting the the home user market is so often disregarded. Sure your average joe will not throw down the same amount of cash a business will but consumer spending is 2/3 of the U.S. economy. That means that the average consumer consumes and dose so a lot. Any business would be crazy to ignore that.
One of the reasons I like linux is because for many jobs there are tools made just for that job. In some cases there are a group of tools designed to work seamlessly to get a more complex task done. I like this idea. I like small fast well writen apps that work with each other. I have yet to see this to the extent that I am thinking about tho.
I would love a simple e-mail client with the absolute minimum number of features required. Then to make things better plug-ins and helper apps to make the client totaly customizable. So if I wanted all the features listed in the review I could install them. If I wanted diffrent one I would get them.
The perfect email client is one that would have a bunch of peices like legos. Anyone could pick the pieces they like and build there own email client. Heck why stop with email?
Um I think that McAfee can do what it pleases for the most part with its EULA. Free speach is not garanteed out side of the government. The first admendment states that congress is the one who can not make laws aginst free speach. An EULA is and agreement. If you do not agree click NO!
We probably will never see this because it is a concept car.
Library records could be obtained by a grand jury long before the patriot act came along. Besides why should public library records not but public?

Okay that is breaking the analogy. It still does not invalidate my point. Beside did you miss the MASSIVE battles?
