  1. XBMC all the way. on Rolling Your Own Jukebox System? · · Score: 0

Use an Xbox, and XBMC. For audio, it supports all the usuallys. It has a webserver built in for song changing. Easy to hook up to a stereo. Can be used with Samba and tons of other Network streaming/filesystems. Plus it's cheap.

  2. Easy on A Simple, Silent, TV-Based Linux Media Player · · Score: 0

Well all you need is an xbox. It's not really silent, but for the price of $100 used, it doesn't matter. Second, is to softmod the xbox(www.xbox-scene.com). It's easy, simple todo, and will open up the xbox to much much more. Third, Load up XBMC(Xbox Media Center). This is the better and newer version of XBMP that someone suggested eariler. The XBMC will allow you to watch dvds, look through pictures, watch movies, listen to music, and listen to web radio, and much much more. Doing this you also get a modded xbox in the process, which allows to to do many more options other than a media center.

  3. Newbs on Splinter Cell Movie in the Works · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Splinter Cell sucks to much to play, so to watch must be worst. Even in a form of a movie.

  4. I own two computers and I'm only 16. on Too Many Computers Hurt Learning · · Score: 1

Yeah i'm one of those people with 2 computers in my room and 4 in the house, and about a 90% average in my grade 12 year(I'm taking Math Principles, Physics, English, And Chemistry). I also own a modded xbox, which is also in my room. To get this stuff I had to work as a dishwasher for a year. This is enough to show that computers effect nothing in life. I've been doing well in school since a little kid and also had a computer since then(Old Pentium 60 :)). It's up to the child to accept to work on his education, and not the parent. I can adgree that I do get distracted when working on computers, that's why I don't use them to do most of my school work. Maybe i'm not suffering because I only have dialup, but you never know.
