I will go with compromised too. Since the statement on one page does sound like something I would expected to see: "You should download TrueCrypt only if you are migrating data encrypted by TrueCrypt." Since if I was migrating data encrypted by TrueCrypt, I would most likely already have TrueCrypt installed on my computer. So yes it does seem very fishy.

On the computer science degrees, you should look in to the community colleges. Even though I taught myself, I did learn more about real world computer troubleshooting from my community college classes then I have from my computer science classes at the local university. Unless the universities change what they teach if it is even possible given the rapid change of computers, then our next generation of techs will be coming from self taught people or those attending community colleges.

It's a shame to even have to suspect the site might not be legit but if it is legit then I like the way the company is heading with the products.

You should do a search on litl.pk. It's interesting how the companies stock is showing up on the spam contaminated lists, so I would be careful with the website.

Something to think about, so what happens to the ISPs that block smtp, netbios, or any other ports? Give it's a bad idea for netbios traffic to be traveling on the internet outside of a vpn tunnel. Wouldn't those ISP fall under the what you are describing?
