I'm sure they are good but I was extremly disappointed with ATI's gnu/linux driver support for Radeon X300 card which came bundled w/ IBM z60m latop. Not to mention ATI's tech support's arrogant response, "sorry but you are on own attitude". In fact, I still have a ticket open with zero response. I hope someone from ATI is reading this.
Yes it was very distasteful experience. Long story short, I RMA'd my IBM z60m and went w/ Alienware w/ nVidia. I was blown away by nVidia's gnu/linux driver support. Not to mention, nvidia rocks!
