  1. Hmm, spam still exists on Are Spammers Giving Up? · · Score: 0

BTW, I have two gmail boxes and still see spam coming everyday. My main email server http://www.vbc.com/ received about 20000 spams a day and all filters (RBL, spamassasin, greylist) can catch not more then 90% of them ...

Sorry, i made mistake in typing here.
This is an aspect of FreeBSD 5.x that sucks. I have a dual PentiumIII system with SCSI disks. Extracting a large tarball (think jdk or firefox) makes the system unresponsive, the mouse skips, audio cuts.

Oh yeah. I have a single Cel-1800Mhz, I built not only jdk-1.4.2 and firefox but also OpenOffice 1.1.3 (which is many times bigger than jdk) and mozilla 1.7.5 (full) on FreeBSD 5.2.1, 5.3, 5-STABLE. My hard disk is just a 120GB Seagate ATA100. All is okay. OpenOffice took about one and a half day to finish. I see no problem with the harddisk at all. So you must troll a lot. jdk 1.4.2 was built well on all my 16 computers in cluster (all Cel-733). That's it.

Yeah. You stop f@cking here, please! If you wanna troll, come and create your own site, and write all shits there. I repeat, the market share or anything like that for *BSD cost nothing. Go f@cking M$crosoft for that.

May be you miss a thing, FreeBSD is not a commercial project/OS. The market share or some other shits is not a goal of FreeBSD (and maybe it's also right for others *BSD). So, please stop trolling here. I use both Windows and FreeBSD, and I love them, I don't care if they are popular or not. They help me solve my problems, help me understanding more prety things and that's enough.

We must pay about 24USD/month for an adsl 128/64kbps (unlimited) here in Moscow. And this is the cheapest price you can get here. For such megabit ADSL line, over 100USD/month is normal, and plus you have only some gigabytes of traffic included :(
