The USPS is quite well run, thanks. In fact, it has quite interesting parallels to other networks, like municipal Wi-Fi networks.
Did I mention that the USPS is self-funding?
And when the police take *your* fingerprint pattern key, and match it with either your fingerprint (on file, remember) or the key on your original file, making you suddenly an identified felon with prints.
Frankly, if you can get access to the system, just take credit card numbers instead. If the system uses debit, you might be able to get the PIN as well, giving you quite a bit of easy cash.
Excuse me - I'm in the media group, and the only people I know of on my team who have a portable media player have an iPod. In fact, some of the people who work on portable devices have an iPod.
I can't speculate as to the reason, but I will point out that Apple is still ahead of the curve in releases. Sure, you can find a little Samsung device that has the same features as the Mini, but it's hard to find. Apple has their own store, and they're a much more recognized brand.
I'm glad you have the option, at least.:)
The key thing to remember when putting together an amd64 system seems to be: What hardware is shipping with the big computer manufacturers' amd64 boxen? If you stick with that, since they're already trying to get MS to include their drivers, you have a better chance of support.
...except that I'm running it, and I've only run into a few device driver issues.
If you haven't used it enough to know that's a false assumption, perhaps you should.
Ouch. I would suggest you get a better video card - yours has trouble supporting proper DX9 surfaces and textures, even in SP2. It's a great 2D card, but since it's so expensive for what it does, it never got great market support.
It's not in beta, it's in RC.
But your comment still applies - although ATI and NVIDIA have drivers, many other graphics card vendors do not, and many other types of hardware aren't supported. That will improve over time, and part of the way that it always improves (with any OS, like Linux) is with a user base being willing to work on bugging those issues and bringing popular opinion to bear.
When making "it" possessive, the correct form is "its." When joining "it" and "is," the correct form is "it's."
This is a common error, but it's an eyesore.

That's one line. How about the rest?

Good grief. If people were being that petty in my building, I'd have called them out publicly on it.
Except that we don't make a competing product.

Larry walked by as I read that. Very strange. You know he just celebrated 20 years? He brought 20 dozen bouncy balls instead of 20 pounds of candy.
"Often led." "Lead" is the present tense.
Mod parent up. This is old news, it was on national TV.
You're dead on.
It's spelled "lose." Also, "its" is correct for possessive, "it's" means "it is," which would be incorrect here.
I'm glad you have the option, at least. :)

And you can run that DX code on the MSDN RC builds.
Release candidate. I have the latest off MSDN (I think). It works just fine. NT 5 was not at RC stage in '98. NT 5 was in RC stage in late 99.
How about you download it before you whine? I'm posting from it.
You can download it from MSDN if you want a beta (you don't even have to be a subscriber), and it's near release.

Mod parent up. Rampant consumerism is a valid point to make when looking at this.
