I agree with you completly. Christians, in my mind, are very often the most violent, evil people around (I'm going on the numbers here, I'd wager that almost all of this country's military officials were/are Christian, not to mention most of this country). D&D is a way that little kids have to think outside the box, come up with solutions to difficult problems, and have a good time pretending to be someone else. It's probably been labled "satanic" because it's a good way to make children wary of the mindless, sheeplike, hypocritical things they've been exposed to in their churches. Fight the real power, folks.
I don't think it'll be a problem with the producers being off the mark, the wired article made it sound like they had put in a lot of work. I'm worried about the return of the Christian anti-D&D backlash. I can't count how many times I've been told D&D's a satanic, evil game, simply because it makes kids imagine...
(forgive me if this is a dup.../. is giving me server/connection/time-out problems)

For $1.25 milion, I'd go on every talk show in the world, advertise for them till they were bored of me, then have it removed. I'd still have a million dollars. The Good Reverend
The article talked about a huge promotional campagin associated with the launch:
The Proton launch will now be the centrepiece of a major space-oriented ad campaign, including commercials featuring the blastoff and in-store promotions.
No one will care if they don't care, but I'd like to see their lasers-projecting-logo-on-the-moon scheme. It's not like I can watch the rocket go up and think about pizza...but a moonlit night, pizza on my mind...
news.com reported that "According to the source code of the U.K. Web page, the "Hotmail Login ID Storage Program 1.1" was written by Michael Nobilio on June 7, 1998." This seems to be where the BCC got their information, directly or indirectly. I've also heard that this crack was passport related, which was only implemented this weekend. Any info?
