But Einstein didn't believe in black holes, Chapline argues. "Unfortunately", he adds, "he couldn't articulate why." At the root of the problem is the other revolutionary theory of twentieth-century physics, which Einstein also helped to formulate: quantum mechanics.
What ever happened to the "God does not play dice" Einstein quote? Einstein was a well known opponent to quantum mechanics in his time, now the article has him inventing it because he's the only physicist people know!?!
lame lame lame
I wonder how this compares in cost and efficiency to solar panels.
My guess is solar panels are less efficient but require less cost to implement (can even make you money if you sell power back to the grid).
How much optic fibre does it require to implement?
Anyway, good to know we have options should prices lean to favor optic fibres over solar panels.
I'm not sure how this slipped by in slashdot but this has nothing to do with the academic area of mathematics:-P
Sounds a lot more like science or physics to be specific.
C'mon people lets try to give things a realistic category. Anyway why the hell is math a subcategory of science??
Just my 2 kilos, flame me if you like.

Or if that doesn't kill you, your stump may get infected after some local thug amputates your hand to steal your implant :-P
fun fun

sure i'll take a girl robot to help me with my lonely prison sentence in space.. oh yeah.. thats the twilight zone :-P
