So, I bought myself a brand new Chevy Truck the other day. On the way home, the gas tank blew up.
I guess I should have subscribed to "Chevrolet Gas Tank Protection Service". D'oh.
The State's legislative session is over for the year. Now that it no longer makes a difference, Microsoft switches back the high road as a P.R. move. Terrific. And all the press will praise Microsoft for their generosity, and the sheeple will love them again.
For further proof, look at downtown Seattle. They had such a difficult time stitching together all the skyscrapers -- from images taken at different angles -- that they finally opted to leave out the 48-story building from which I'm typing this message (1001 4th avenue).

I've seen that $5 liability limit before in other Microsoft EULAs. It's nothing new -- been there for years. I wonder why CNet is only now mentioning it???
