Actually, I do lead quite a wonderful life. And I do leave my house (all 3 of them) quite often and tour the coast on my BMW R1150RT with by gaming buddies.
As far as for psychological issues, you appear to have the issues. You are obviously jealous of my "needless toys". My guess is you fall in one of two categories. Either you are under 18 years of age using your parent's computer or you are over 18 years of age living in your parent's basement using their computer.
I was simply making a point, and only brought up my "needless toys" to illustrate the point I was trying to make. It has been a hobby of mine for 3 decades. I attacked no one. Your need to attacked me and hide behind an "Anonymous Coward" login, only reaffirms my suspicion that you my friend lead a lonely, solitaire, sad existence.
Cheers!!
Must be a drag to find faults in so many things.
I will agree that Doom 3 was a disapointment, but to say that HL2 was not as good as the first is utter nonsense. It is by far one of the best games released on the PC in recent memory.
Relax and enjoy (half) Life a bit.
Two of the 10 arcade games I own is Both Tron and Disc of Tron. I also own a Ms Pac Man cocktail.
Me thinks I was a "real gamer" while you were but a spec in your daddy's eye.
Sorry to hear that you have only owned but a few systems. Must be why you are so ill-informed.
Old and loving it.
Anyone that thinks that Halo 2 sucks or was just an overpriced expansion pack for the original Halo knows nothing of gaming. Your anti Microsoft rants have now risen to a point where you can not enjoy one of the best games ever released. It is one of a handful of games I played non-stop and I have a bit of gaming under my belt.
I have been a gamer since the early 70's and own every home system ever made. I own 10 full size arcade machines, 2 pinballs, and 1 MAME conversion. I have OSX, XP and Linux PC's on my home network and owe allegiance to none of them but use the best features of each. I overlook most of Slashdot's anti Microsoft threads but this was just a blatant stupid, ill informed statement. This person obviously never played Halo 2 (or Halo 1 for that matter) and is just pontificating their anti-Microsoft agenda.
