I have been working on European cars since the 50's. I worked on SAAB's in dealerships from 1980 to 1986. They were easy to work
on and great performing and reliable cars. However, the vast majority of USA mechanics are very poorly trained and that is
the real reason so many of these cars did not run right in the USA.
