I agree. If home theater PCs really are going to be the center of our digital life as HP and many others believe, then it makes perfect sense for them to integrate a digital music player which holds north of 90% of its market.
They aren't the only ones who think this. The hobbyist HTPC market is full of cases with firewire and USB on the front panel for the same reason.
The living room is a very social place and some people prefer to share and archive their pictures and music with family and friends.
