I don't know if ID is unconstitutional or not, but it should not be allowed in a science textbook. It just isn't science plain and simple. I don't know why people believe that religion is banned in schools. The high school I went to had religious groups after school, and it taught about religion, all the religions in its proper humanities class. Why is necessary to force it into the science class. When religion gets involved with science history has shown there was repression of new ideas and people died. Do we really have to go through all that again? It's a simple equation if religion is taught as science then science is dead because the search for truth ends with faith.
I read and article about this that says Greenpeace is apposed to the project. They have really lost there way. All they have to do is hear the word nuclear and there opposed to it. Don't they realize that a key element of any environmental plan is to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Ask the Greenpeace people if they are willing to live with candles for lighting or walk to work. They such a bunch of hypocrites.
What the hell is a dark energy star. Dark energy and
dark matter are entirely theoretical. We don't know what they are or how they interact. This dark energy matter stuff just exists to balance equations. Physicists are definately smoking something, they see dark matter galaxys and dark energy stars. For me its seems much easier to beleive physics works differently on a large scale.
Do you really think this is a chance to opt out. The
President has not been big on specifics, but I know he is not going to just write everyone a check. From what I heard the government will invest it for us into to companies it considers a stable investment. The main difference between social security and the new plan is social security is insurance with guaranteed benefits the new plan is an investment with without such guarantees. The economy currently does not inspire me to invest.
Many lower income workers can barely make ends meet much less put money into savings. I work at a nursing home, and let me tell you, a lot of the people there would be out on the street if not for social security. Which would you rather have? Pay a relatively small amount of money out of your check or have the homeless population explode. It's not much, but social security has worked for a long time. Can you not do simple math we will be putting more money in and getting less money out. Even after 2042 we can still get up to 73% of our social security. This opposed the 40% cut we can expect from Bush and company's plan. There pan also depends on the stock market. Do you not remember the 1990's stock market crash? Healthcare is in much worse shape than Social Security so why doesn't he work on that. Could it be because he would eventually have to go up against Big Pharm and the health care industry? The new S.S. plan would save corporate America millions. As far as I'm concerned they can pry my Social Security check from my cold dead hands.
They sell seed for plants that are programed to die off. They don't tell there customers. Now they are putting people in jail for planting there seeds. The same system works for drug dealers.
