@Kythe "As I recall, we didn't nail the germ theory of disease right off the bat, too--yet I'll bet you take your antibiotics."
Yeah,now
"MRSA is a type of Staph bacteria that can cause very serious bacterial infections. MRSA stands for methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). MRSA is caused by Staphylococcus aureus or "Staph," that has acquired an immunity or resistance to the penicillin type of antibiotics..."
Let's try not to fix something we don't really understand and make it worse. Doing nothing till an answer is derived is a viable action. What we can all agree upon is Maurice Strong is a shadowy figure and has way to much power and money.
Depends on the memory controller. If you know the address, you can't determine the data, if you read the data you don't know how to address it. Unless the controller is in the 5th Dimension, because we will always know that Aquarious is the offset.
Amen to that brother, My xp3000+ just went to my daughter's pc when I got the opteron. A cheap 206 dollar opteron. That's faster than any stock AMD on the market. But I guess you could OC the FX's a little higher than the Opty, but for 600 to 800 dollars more? Also, remember the theme, rolling upgrades, the 3rd tier pentium 233 goes in the kitchen to be a dedicated surfing rig. And for pesky guest who never touch my computer. It works and you don't have to buy the latest and greatest, but the 5 years between pentium 233 and xp3000 seem to be upped to two years but at least half the price, the xp cost 2500 back in May of 04 and the opty was only 1200 with a couple of aftermarket cooling devices.
Something I learned in school - energy can not be created or destroyed, it can only change forms. So this makes energy eternal by definition. The same amount of energy existed before the big bang as existed after the big bang. So... energy is eternal or energy=eternity. I learned in Sunday school that God is eternal. Ie; God=eternity. therefore God=energy Now in the Bible I read God changes His mind all the time so this is still consistant with energy. God/energy permeates the multiverse, He is in everything, your mind, that rock, whatever. Did He create everything, well since He is everything and has always been everything He has at least changed forms, semantic hair spliting about the creation thing.
Ah, changed forms kinda sounds like evolution. Ok, is evolution, amonst other things. So the only question left, is God aware, does He have a personality? That's a belief, purely subjective. That He made us in His own image?, well we're energy. Doesn't matter if we evolved or not. But look close at the first creation story, it's just stinks of evolution, just a couple of things out of order. A day is as a thousand years to God. So much for the 6 thousand year thing. My conclusion...
Evolution is a fact, God is a fact. How it all works is what were working on. And all of you are wrong. I don't trust the fundies or the techs. Both camps are just digging at the other and no real thought is happening. And don't tell me I can't stipulate that God=energy, I'm just labeling a concept. You don't have use He like I did, you can use any label you want. English has a neuter gender so replace my male gender if you like.
Think of this as a thought experiment. They were good enough to find the theory of relativity. Not that this is like that! Pretty much I just want you to think, because I see both sides as unbending. Plus I hope someone gets pissed, that will mean I've struck a chord.
It seems that where ever I go I here the theory of evolution being used as a fact. A theory is not a fact. ID is not even a theory but a belief. I don't believe that Rene's "I think, therefore I am" is a backhanded attempt of proving that God exist, as I was taught in school. As smart as he was he got it wrong, we exist first and think because we exist. So think. Does anyone really believe that a giraff's neck grew longer because generations stretched their necks to get food higher up a tree? Yes I do believe in selective breeding. There are records of proof for this. But there is not any proof that a species changed into another that can't interbreed. (Not being a biologist, I hope species is the right term, but you all know what I mean.) So anyone who believes in evolution on that scale is having a religous experiance just like the so-called ID'ers. It is just a belief like God made it all. I hope you all find out that God created everything in the beginning and then it evolved into what we see today so that everyone of you is upset at being wrong or happy because you were both right, but please, don't say you know when all of you are just believing in different things. Science is nothing more than the modern religion, and it's nowhere near as smart as the old God religions when dealing with the lives of men. Is spoil the rod, spoil the child a theory? Did God or evolution give us nerve endings? You scientist and you preachers are both wrong and need to drop the pride and become pratical in the lives of men, maybe Rosenstock-Huessy got it right when he says we might find the answers in speech. Wake up!
