Really? We're already doing this very thing, but with a different source. I'm sure that there are more people than me who have to scratch our heads, and come up with a way to implement what sales people have sold. We have already been using sales departments as a motivator to create technology, why not SF writers? To say that SF writers don't understand science is irrelevant. We ALL know that sales people are technologically clueless, yet they are the premier driving force behind technology, currently. It takes vision, not understanding, to push the scientists/technoweenies into the future. We'll figure out the details as we move along.
Fonts are still broken. Lotta ram comsumption; it doesn't NEED to leak. On resize, the contents did not grow/redraw properly. After a restart, it worked ok.
Amavis has a good product. All email, (inbound and outbound), is scanned. When a virus is found, it sends mail to the sysadmin, the sender, and the intended recipient.
Hmmmm.... In no particular order: Multi Tool, (I prefer the Leatherman Wave) Glasses, (I like to see what I'm doing) Compass, (I like to think that I know where I am) Lighter, (Zippo: What else?) Combination Locks, (No keys) Wrist Watch, (Keeps me from over-dosing) Solar Powered, (Anything but flashlights) Spill Proof Coffee Cup, (My wife's idea; Is she tryin' to tell me sumthin'?) Wind up Anything, (Flashlights, radios, clocks) And Last but not least: The Tweaker! I'd be lost without it. (The ultimate original multi tool)
A demand for documentation from M$? Why? Aren't they smart enough over there to understand *nix without it? It may be that the overhead from their code "Borrowing" Dept. would be reduced, if the open source community provided pictures as well. It is ironic that the single most CLOSED community would harp on documentation. The only documentation from M$ involves, "click here, scroll there", or similar(deliberate exaggeration). Certainly, someone with a higher indulgence level could phrase this better. How does M$ document "undocumented features"? They don't. Obviously their internal documentation and/or auditing system is inadequate/apathetic.
Now maybe if Billy Boy gets hit by a stampeding buffalo........

Right off the bat:

Hmmmmm... It is SO damn pretty.
You guys/gals have come a long way. Thank you!

Gawd, the nightmares....
st225, 20 MB. That drive could walk, tho. I bet this new one will RUN across the table.
St252ax, so big you had to create 2 partitions, because of the 32MB partition limit imposed by, (you guessed it), Microsoft.
I'd hate to buy the new drive, just to see how well it'll walk, but benchmarks such as this are IMPORTANT!

It's about time that something like this came to a head. The GPL has been argued about for years; now I hope it goes all the way.
To date, all the discussion, flamewars, and hype over this issue have been theoretical and/or opinion, only.
Now we have the opportunity to see whether the GPL will stand, and maybe have a chance to strenghten any weak spots before someone else tries this.
The only opinion that matters now, (I hope), is a judges opinion.

It has already saved our bacon several times.

Even so, I still don't understand what "posterior facts" are.
