The way I treat wireless everywhere I've deployed it is that it's as secure as the internet, therefore you only get access to the VPN server.
In one way it's safer than the internet as people would have to be physically close (and places are usually covered by CCTV) but in another it's more dangerous as they'd have more bandwidth wirelessly and be less likely to be noticed downloading vast amounts of data.
Come to think of it as we only give access to the VPN server via wireless it's in fact more "secure" as via the internet you have access to our SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS etc...
I run the IT for a mid sized company and we have about 40 to 50 of them used by consultants that absolutly trash laptops.
In over 4 years really heavy use we've not had a single problem with the bags. I've walked for miles, riden motorbikes for hours and they've always been really comfortable too, the people there are really friendly too.
I'm gonna need to order another 20 or so bags in the new year cause more and more people at work see them and want to get rid of the horrible targus bags they start with!
Don't forget the Seychelles and other surrounding Islands...

That pisses me off too, Imation are now labeling their new tapes with the compressed size and putting the real (native) size in tiny letters at the bottom.
You have to look under their research section, on the left hand side of the link there's an option for it. It only says the notes beta but if you register there's more.
If you're looking for old 800k floppies you can make them.
Just cover up one of the holes in a "normal" floppy and your mac should be able to format them fine. It's just like changing 720k disks to 1.44Meg by drilling a hole in the right place...
I personally havn't had much experience with Mainframes but I am told that they are more powerful than the AS/400 mini-computer, at no point did I dis the Mainframe, I just said how cool the AS/400 is and that it's the smaller cousin of the Mainframe which implies that the Mainframe is better...
I'm just wondering if you have any clue at all what you are talking about. I am involved heavily with IBM AS/400's (the mainframes _smaller_ cousin) and quite frankly at some stuff they rule. Databases and batch processing can be made to FLY on these machines. We did a test in IBM's load testing facilities in Italy with a huge machine capable of processing a 18 Tbyte Database performing complex transactions on 75% of the data in only 4 hours. Half way through we yanked the power from an array of disks and it kept merrily chugging, 20mins later, pluged the disks back in and watched it heal it's self.
I believe in the best tool for the job, sometimes it's Unix, sometimes AS/400 and sometimes even windows. It's foolish to rule out a platform when you obviously know nothing about it.
Since the others were answered I thought I'd do the rest...
Is there such a thing as Free Will? Yes but it comes with consequences.
How do we know there aren't in fact, an infinite number of nested realities? We don't and I don't think we'll ever be able to prove that there aren't, we may be able to prove that their are tho.
What if our entire universe is actually a subatomic particle in another universe? Save as the last answer. But then do we care? We could never interact properly with it... (Thinking of the closing sequence in Contact IIRC with the "beings playing marbles")
Think geek (who always advertise on/. sell them at http//www.thinkgeek.com click on other stuff on the right, they have the best selection of "geek" T-Shirts etc I have seen also.

Why not buy an anti-virus product?
Sophos even have a beta release of a virus checking SMTP relay.
