Hello all and thanks for the suggestion. When I was saying cost is not a factor yes at some point it as, and for the time being she sees a team of therapists 5 days a week, but this is only for I think 3 or 4 hours day so she gets bored during the rest of the day after she finishes her "homework". We figured if she is bored, looking for something to do why not something that could help her. (She is used to working 10+ hour days, it's just the way she is and probably one of the reasons she had a stroke, stress). The suggestion for a second language is a great idea but she is Chinese (me being half) so she speaks english and Chinese. I like the game boy idea, tetris might be fun for her. If there is any more specific info that I could give that would help please ask and thanks again to everyone who took the time.
p.s. I'm not going to have her learn linux just to get some free software, I'm a linux user and I have a mac but that's me not them please keep those comments out with that in mind.
Seriously get over yourself your not helping at all if you want to swing your virtual intellectual dick around some more, go ahead. It's not like I'm expecting this to solve problems just to help to supplement her therapy from the hospital. There is that better, ok now run to google so you can up with something to slap others down again.
