  1. Re:Ask the executives on Reporting To Executives · · Score: 2, Interesting

Here are some items that my execs liked to see as they could understand them: 1 Amount of spam based on incoming email blocked. 2. Attempted intrusion attempts on firewall. 3. Virus outbreaks on network. 4. Since you run IT do you get phone records? Maybe the number of calls per department or inbound vs outbound and where all of your ld costs are. 5. You might want to look to see how accounting has your department's financials set up and maybe present those. Just thoughts.

  2. Re:Duh. on Press Favored Obama Throughout Campaign · · Score: 2, Interesting

    I absolutely agree:

It seemd if there was good news, it was Obama. Bad news? McCain.

I firmly believe that journalism as we know it is dead.

WHen the media would prefer to dig in top Ms. Palin's kid's personal life than Obamas, what does that say?

  3. Re:Not enough gain? on Best Terrestrial/OTA HDTV Setup For an Apartment? · · Score: 5, Informative

The low noise benefits of mast mounted pre-amplifiers are good. Remember that most ota hd channels are in the UHF range so get an amp with gain in that band. Also: Try www.tvfool.com for aiming. Lots more information available to use.

Thank you. Now let's hope that the rest of the nation takes notice. I am not against religion, but like previously stated, it does not belong in the classroom of U.S. public schools.

  5. It all boils down to.. on The People Vs. Common Sense · · Score: 1

..basic family values and morals. If the lawmakers here in this country just took 5 minutes to look at this, maybe someone would see the light. Kid's first influence, their first living environments, are all based from their guardians/parants. Now how the parents want to mold their siblings, if they want to get involved at all, is another story. I allow my 2 teenage kids a lot of freedoms, but they were taught, as my sister and I were taught, about good vs evil, right and wrong, things that make good common sense so that my kids can make rational decisions on what's good and bad.
