Universities must maintain computer labs which are getting more and more expensive. The mandate for students to have their own computer will negate the need for computer labs mainted by the university. Because of the mandate, the school will provide financial aid for those to buy their own laptop.

It's all about money. I see it as a good thing.
Who actually uses the computer labs?
The VCR must support macrovision for it to not work on the TV. I think it was late 80's they pretty much all did.
On my tv with coax input only, I had to use a rf modulator. But what it also does is remove macrovision.
That would be the analog hole?
