From early today until about now (5 PM, -5GMT) AMD's stock has rocketed up to 17.70, over a full dollar in just one business day. It had previously been declining.
God knows that he and Morgan Webb were the only things worth watching on that sinking ship of a channel...
Amen to that. The whole channel has been far more 'marketable' since the changeover. I commend him for not completely selling his soul on this one.

Don't want to keep everything too general, here.
I know for a fact my Latin professor has not only bought $600 worth of tickets so that he can tape all the tickets on the seats near him for the midnight show and be alone, but that he's also spent another few hundred to go see every showing of the movie for that day and the day after. Needless to say he'll be out.
Don't underestimate the power of a SW geek - I bet that though many people won't spend as much as expected, others will spend far more than expected (aka less time working), and it'll get pretty close to the estimate given.
Oddly enough, only in the past week or so has Mozilla been letting through the occasional popups. Looks like you're right on time with this one, boys.
But really, who cares. I think mozilla's going to patch this stuff up quick, and even if not, I'm still getting so few with firefox that it doesn't largely effect me.

I totally regret using Red Hat first. Suse is indeed the better road. I'd love to see the gov't be run on linux :D
