Communist is a bad word, if only because of the people who have used the term to describe themselves in the past. The same has become true for "liberal". Liberals are not the liberals that Thomas Jefferson, a liberal in his time, would proudly side with.

    Typical liberal garbage.

These licenses are already paid for. Micro$oft is just looking to capture revenue from companies that are using old software, want to get legal and don't want to buy new licenses.

Xandros works great for a desktop. It has so far proven to be idiot proof. I have distributed the 3.01 cd to three users (non-techies, one brother, two salesmen) and they each successfully installed it (replacing Win2k). All three are using it now as their primary OS and are very happy.

The US is not a socialist/liberal society. I do get the impression that NY is socialist/liberal but I'm in Virginia and and the amount of capitalism and competition is huge. I see no lack of ambition from my neighbors or my peers. With that said, I work with Indians too and they are clearly as hungry as us to get ahead.

What an ignorant generalization. I'm guessing you're from somewhere other than the US because you couldn't have drawn the conclusion that we're "fat, lazy and happy" if you live here.
