Oh c'mon, what's the series really gonna lose through censoring an adult theme here and there? It's been a while since I've watched NGE, but give Cartoon Network a break here! The sexuality, violence, and interesting adaptation of genesis are all minor themes in the end, right?. It's just a hyped up story about a boy and his dog! The sex was just thrown in 'cause the Japanese are perverts, right? The violence is just there so that adolescent boys with dubious heterosexuality can attribute their interest to something other than Shinji in a skin tight suit. I mean, when have graphic and/or intense images ever been used in visual media to emphasize something integral to the entire piece? This way there's a whole lot more room for commercials!
Oh wait.. I just heard they've cut Pen Pen out too... I'm bleeping livid.
