You're both right. There were a lot of motions considering (software) patents in the last couple of days, the parent and grandparent describe two of them, which have been accepted.
The three motions of Dutch parliament (I can remember):
Compelling the Minister of Economics to abstain from voting (only takes effect if the proposal is voted on).
Compelling the Government to aid any country who wants to make the proposal a voting item instead of a hamer-piece (passing it without voting)
Asking the Government to propose a complete restart of the patents directive (all patents, including software)
From reading the descripyion I would say: none.
Scanning and uploading isn't a creative addition to the work, and from what I've read all the 'artists' have been dead long enough for ot to become public domain.
The problem I have with your post, is that it seems to ignore one simple fact:
A programming languege is a tool.
The same is true for OS'es and compilers. Use the tool that fots the job. If you're building a website's content management system, you probably use Java/Perl/PHP/Ruby/.... If you're doing rocket science you probably use FORTRAN (or C if you don't mind being thought of as a revolutionary).
Discussions which language is best, without mentioning the field it's used in, are as intelligent as the Discovery Channels documentary "Why 4x4 is here to stay" or "Cranes are great".
Upon a visit to the US, Heidi was detainyed for questioning.
Persons who have rented or bought the DVD version of "The Sound of Music" have been placed on a watch list and are forbidden to operate aircraft in the continental US.
I agree, just how is this different from the FCC trying to regulate VOIP (here) when it's combined with the PATRIOT act? Now, that combination isn't likely, but TFA said: "At its most Draconian, the proposal would make Internet telephoning a crime." (emphasis added)
Isn't that related to illigal immigrants?
In the port of Oostende (B) freight is checked for stow-aways because the UK imposes a fine on companies "importing" illegal immigrants. The same is true for international flights from outside the EU (passengers and freight).
The point being, in this context, you don't have to fly with Ryanair if you're going from London to Glasgow.

The first time I used MS Acces it died on me, I went back to the trusty pen, paper and storage cabinets...
Correct me If I'm wrong.

What ever happened to that V-Chip...
It kept blocking the first few scenes of Bambi.
Much easier:
Listen for young women screaming: "Get the f*ck away from me!"

Or, "I'll believe it, when I see it."
lol
mod parent up

He obviously means that students should know:
