Hang on there. I am the last one to say that everything is rosy in SA, but please keep your examples rooted in reality. Most of what you mention is wildly exaggerated, which does nothing to fix our problems.

Farm attacks are a major problem, but "Hunted down and tortured and murdered by SA police" is nothing short of emotional BS.

Similar considerations are relevant in many other fields, like medicine. In spite of hands-on training and no end of examinations the odd braindead person obtains the necessary qualifications. The problem is that certification may be flawed, but it is the best we have.
