    Not only does Linux need a standard base, it needs standard patch, documentation and support services. Sun does this with Solaris. With Solaris being basically free, they may have already won the "Unix" wars.

    They're here. See the NIC. We just ordered a second unit. My kids like it better than their somewhat slower PCs and you just can't beat the price.
