Sometimes there is satellite damage from X2 flare, though the things are supposed to be designed to withstand them. More likely effects are communication disruptions. Last year, February 2011, Earth was hit with X2. We mostly survived 8D
the word "limb" has alternative definitions than the usual use of "branch of tree" or "member of animal's body other than head or trunk". These alternatives come from Latin "limbus", meaning border. In astronomy, the definition is "The circumferential edge of the apparent disk of a celestial body." There is a related definition in mathematics: "The edge of a graduated arc or circle used in an instrument to measure angles" --http://www.thefreedictionary.com/limb
most end users, almost all of them, don't know a thing about radio spectrum, encoding, or protocols for such. The level of understanding is "does it work with this system, or doesn't it'. Therefore "super wifi" is nothing more than a marketing term. It doesn't matter.

I saw even lamer than that today, announcement of coming "electric planes" with concept pictures from Boeing & etc. of these 737 sized crafts. then one real picture in the article at the end of a real electric plane, a single man craft that was not much more than enclosed ultra-light. Because of course, the state of the art is that batteries are way too fucking heavy to make a craft with tens of thousands of horsepower
eh? there are plenty of linux desktops out there. GNOME3 and Unity are not them. I've put a few people on a "Linux desktop" (xfce and gnome "classic") this year and they are very happy.
Ubuntu does not support users. Ubuntu users will be abused by Unity. I don't need to know it. The world does not revolve around GNOME3's arrogant prick developers nor Canonical's brain-farting code monkeys.
If you take your "wifi" device that only does 2.4GHz to a place with 5 GHz wifi, it won't work either. get over it.
