    "You need a media file server. That file server must respond to requests for file downloads from users. You need one or more distribution servers. The media server must redirect download requests to a distribution server, and the decision of which one must be based on network throughput."

    BBS meets all of those. We've had internet-based (not dial-up) BBSes do the exact same thing. Why, yes, you CAN redirect a modem line to a new server on the fly. Once it's connected to the main server, that internally-assigned IP address can be dynamically changed. And in fact, you don't even have to change the modem line, just switch which server the main one is retrieving information from depending upon other server loads.

    Network topologies - mine are strange, but essentially I've been doing exactly what has been described in the patent since 1995, when I was 13.

    Been running Nucleus BBS since I was 8. I'm almost 29.

    Well, in all honesty, at older scrapyards in Texas back in the 80s, we set several cars and tire piles on fire.

    Seat cushions today are still mostly petroleum-based and contain plenty of energy to be released.

    Some weeks ago, we smashed into Brink with our heavy artillery Lulz
    Cannons and decided to switch to ninja mode. From our LFI entry point,
    we acquired command execution via local file inclusion of enemy fleet
    Apache vessel. We then found that the HTTPD had SSH auth keys, which
    let our ship SSH into other servers. See where this is going?

    We then switched to root ammunition rounds.
    And we rooted... and rooted... and rooted...

    After mapping their internal network and thoroughly pillaging all of
    their servers, we grabbed all their source code and database passwords,
    which we proceeded to shift silently back to our storage deck.

    Sounds competent enough to me. It's Bethesda who was incompetent.

    I'm surprised nobody's been buying those $100 American Platinum Eagle coins in bulk and then using them in Utah, which has just recently set up a weekly price quote per ounce of platinum to set the weekly value of that coin. $100 investment gets you a $1500-1800 token in Utah. Bullion coin is getting recognized in Utah, take advantage of it while you can!

    And that's why you write your own non-standard algorithm that makes GPU busting almost impossible due to modern GPU architecture.

    Notice how ATi cards are beating nVidia cards in bitcoin generation. It's almost purely an architectural issue.
