The store would get sued for false/deceptive advertising and lose. The court would find that the onus is on them to ensure accurate pricing AT ALL TIMES per consumer laws.
Source: I've worked tons of brick and mortar stores.
I've read and done term searching on FaceBook's ToS. Nothing in their ToS states that you have given them the right to DESTROY your copyrighted material.
Sue their ass under the DMCA for violating and destroying your copyright. They voted for this law, time to put it to use against them.
" The statute of limitations has probably run out for most of those cases."
I was under the impression that the statue of limitations begins when the party has reasonable cause to believe they have been harmed by an action. As soon as they learn of these relationships and how deep they go, they have reasonable cause. They had no reasonable cause to suspect they had been wronged before hand, in the eyes of the law.
It doesn't matter if he loses the DNC nomination. YOU CAN STILL WRITE IN YOUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT AND THUS VOTE FOR HIM IN THE GENERAL ELECTION.
Holy fuck, it's like you fuckers failed basic goddamned civics.
Whipslash, get rid of the goddamned caps filter. TEXT IS NOT YELLING. You are *NOT* using your fucking vocal chords.
"by 2030 how resistant do you think such over-the-air update functionality going to be to, for example, quantum-capable attackers?"
If I'm still using wi-fi, quantum crackers aren't going to do shit because they're not entangled with my data stream because my data stream cannot be entangled, I utterly (likely) lack the hardware for such a thing to happen.
Do you even understand the basics of Quantum computing?
" given that vacuum tubes work by heating a piece of metal to white hot"
My 1978 Fender Super Reverb 6L6 tubes barely glow red with 200 watts blowing through them at maximum volume on both channel and master, after an hour of operation. Try again.
Then to boot, even at say 50nm per tube size, you've got something roughly the size of an old Pentium Pro processor, running 300x the speed of most current processors. Tubes also have the potential to be more energy efficient and the efficiency gains just JUMP as you drop in size.
Those of us with actual experience building devices with valves knew this years ago. When you can switch a tube at terahertz+ speeds, silicon looks like utter shit.
"Nobody has used BJTs for digital circuits since about 1980."
Wrong. BJTs are still used in high-end metal detectors because they get better sensing range than FETs (and vacuum tube driven ones get even better range) and are less susceptible to ground interference without needing the extra circuitry FETs require to eliminate the issue.
"Try that at a brick and mortar store."

"It maybe a technicality, but the terms of service for those websites are unlikely to be regarded as a contract under UK law."
That won't matter. Facebook can sue the fuck out of ScoreAssured in the USA under various treaties the UK and US have with each other.
And your UK doesn't have any kind of money to stop Facebook from yanking those fuckers right over here and financially breaking their asses for good.
"It's for catching application crashes."
And if an application crashes - that's what DRWATSON is fucking for. NOT telemetry code insertion.
I've got way more facts than you, including half of the key to Julian's insurance file.
I know WAY more than you. :D
" Nobody outside the FBI has really reliable knowledge of what the investigation is turning up."
Bullshit, Hillary's e-mails are out in the wild. If you have the right connections, you should be able to find them.
Leaving the bench != sitting in as commissioner or magistrate. Plenty of 'retired' judges are still sitting on a bench to this day.

"The FBI has found "no criminal wrongdoing"."
Why is this not a story on slashdot's front page, then?
Oh, because Mediaite is a known bullshit news site.
Try again when you have a clue about real unbiased news.
Only 4 million more votes due to gerrymandering districts.

Sorry jafiwam, but you've not seen inside Julian's 'insurance' file nor Snowden's 'insurance' file.
Until you can compare the two, you don't know jack shit, son.

"Just because your car doesn't have a reset button (shudder) doesn't mean that disconnecting the battery to reboot the software is an hardware fix."
If you need to disconnect hardware to make software work, it's a fucking hardware fix for SHIT SOFTWARE CODE.
EG. Lexus has no fucking clue what it's doing.
This is why you get Vacuum Tubes with a W rating for military usage. Most really old metal detectors used these.
Prove you're capable of doing the most basic maintenance upon, and understand the basic operations of, the vehicle you're driving.
No need to tear down an engine, but you'd better at least damn-well know the ins and outs of the specific vehicle you wish to purchase.
I've seen people roll off the lot without ever figuring out how to operate basic shit like their headlights or turn signals.
No, we chose roses over daffodils because red is PREFERABLE TO YELLOW.
But you failed English, apparently.
Yea, nothing can emulate a 1978 Super Reverb. NOTHING. The hand wiring of every single component ensures natural variation in tonal quality.

If you used an all-metal bracket and heat sink retainer plate, the heat sink grounds itself to the ground plane of the motherboard.
But you've never assembled computers before, otherwise you'd know this.
Only 100 gigabits can be moved per second? You can't move one bit per clock cycle or even every four?
" I don't see any *good* reason a car should allow a driver to hit another object."
Then you've probably never been shot at while driving your vehicle. Try living in Memphis, some time.
