    maybe inject pidgin or some other FOSS GPLed instant messenger service with some financial help to build a better alternative to facebook, something that does not see their users as a product and respects their privacy, and any advertising in non-intrusive, and no malicious or upsetting scripts to annoy people

    when i tried DirecTV (owned by AT&T) they did not tell me that more than half the channels are spammy home shopping channels, i canceled in less than a month, so i bet their free TV will be served with even more spammy TV viewing, TV is terrible, i refuse to watch it because of the spammy advertising, i refuse to allow any corporation to turn any of my gadgets in to a platform for advertising

    they should build it to look like a GIANT beetle, and build the solar panels like the wings that can fold out when the conditions are good and when not so good fold in and collapse flat with a hard weather-proof outer shell that covers and protects them (like some beetles that can fly)

    because free speech is human nature, people have opinions and they are going to express them, like me for example i dont trust religion and consider them meddlesome and divisive, and i dont trust government and consider them fascistic and runs on mostly treachery

    in the USA especially in tornado alley, because wood frame houses almost always gets torn to pieces, it would be nice to have my whole house completely tornado-proof, just get some steel shutters i can quickly close during tornado watches & warnings, i think a monolithic concrete house made with a 3D printer would be able to build a house capable of withstanding a tornado

    the IRS should be abolished and a flat tax with a graph that gets steeper as the more money someone or some corporation makes the more percentage of it goes to taxes, no tax shelters and no tax exemptions for religion, especially rich TV preachers and other wacky religious schemes that are just a front to fleece the ignorant they should be taxed the most, start at just 5% for the poor and the scale gradually inclines upwards to 10% once someone makes enough money to live at a certain level above the cost of living, and the incline gets steeper the more money in acquired, basically dont be cruel and burdensome to the poor and quit coddling the rich

    Facebook is trying to rebuild their respect after the big debacle about the fake news, and other crap, but i think they are incapable of being trustworthy, as soon as the next election draws near they are going to ramp up the bias and mud slinging and all the other dirty shenanigans that go with US politics, you facebook members are a product to be used for profits thats all you are to facebook, and thats all you will ever be to facebook

    build a bare bones android OS with just enough software to run the phone & wifi, and txt msgs, camera, gps, browser, email, (including audio) but all the extra apps and addons be locked out, at least that way it will still be functional as a bare-bones smartphone, i do like samsung's hardware they make a great phone but there are some annoyances in the software side of things, like apps that can not be uninstalled, only disabled, especially third party apps that are not required for a phone to function

    non compliant cellphones too, require nothing less than GSM with 4g LTE, just do a search of some of those rugged cellphones with extra long battery life and you will find a boatload of old cellphones with obsolete specs/tech that wont even work with the system we have now

    they had a water shortage too, all these coastal cities have no excuse sitting next to HUGE bodies of water, they need to build desalination plants and turn sea water in to potable drinking water

    yup, and i disabled Bixby and google voice commands on my phone, and when i feel like big brother is watching me my phone goes in to airplane mode and in to a faraday bag and then in to a metal box, i like a smartphone when i want one, but there are times i want to cut all that intrusive technology off for a while and have a conversation with family & friends.

    it gets rebooted often because of frequent power outages caused by squirrels committing suicide on the power transformer out on the power pole or by the frequent thunderstorms blowing through the area this time of year, so my router has been rebooted about 3 or 4 times just this month
