So they're suing the guy for leaving Microsoft and then taking another job? Were they going to pay the guy during this year that he was supposed to wait before finding another job?
But in other countries it is harder for Americansto get a job. I have known people who have tried to get jobs in Europe and they said a lot of companies really prefer hiring Europeans.
Maybe its just my school but the Computer Science department has a way of weeding out the people who aren't really interested in the subject. So heres my theory. As more and more people drop the subject all we have left are those who are good and interested in it. Therefore the quality of the applicants in the (addmitedly decreasing number of )jobs increases. Which might lead to an increase in demand for American IT and CS graduates.
I'm happy about this. If it is no good (Family Guy: Live in Las Vegas) then I don't buy it and I can ignore the fact that it exists. If it is awesome, as it will probably be, then we get a new 2 hour fix of Futurama and the possibility of more.
I think us geeks need to change our postergirl. This illusion that we have fallen into that Natalie Portman is one of us is ridiculous. I think we need to find someone else. Maybe an asian?;)
Wired recently had a commentary about how the Wall Street Journal is becoming irrelevant online because it forces its online readers to pay. Does the NYT wish to do the same thing?

Or they're going to be learning how to be like the computer programmers in movies.
