Games aren't getting less fun, your just not interested in the kind of games they're offering. If your still playing your SNES games(and dont get me wrong they're great) and not enjoying alot of newer games thats because the gaming medium is a completley different beast than it was 10 even 5 years ago. Your going to have to expect a different type of game and a different experiance.
The fact of the matter is that for every one person saying they're not going to buy a 10 dollar more game 10 people ARE going to buy that game. Your not making much of a dent in the companies pocket, and besides they're making up that dent with the extra 10 bucks. Not buying their games just denies you some quality entertainment.
It's not that they arnen't looking hard enough, its just that the right people arent looking. If you've got people publishing things on the patriot act saying they can't find the kind of abuses we say exist we're either dumb-chicken-shits or we have biased people reading a biased act and feeding there crap to us.
"Microsoft has ultimate control over almost every users' system"
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If you don't patch your machine your going to get hit, thats just the way it goes. You can't blame the phone company if someone prank calls you. Microsoft is doing the best they can. Just because you're a linux fanboy doesnt make them evil.
is anyone really suprised by this? alot of people who own computers dont even bother updating any protection software they might have. its not really a surprise at this point
The fact of the matter is that most people don't have an HDTV. That doesn't mean they're not gamers it means they're not yet ready to shell out the cash for one. I'd tend to agree with them. It's good that MS is including all there titles with HD for the xbox but to go on the assumption that the majority of consumers have one is just foolish.
