I agree that pedophilia, as defined as "a disorder involving sexual attration to children" is not (and should not be) a crime. My point was that if you define pedophilia as an act of possesing or viewing children being abused, then it is (and should be) a crime.
The argument that I put for is incomplete in the sense that it doesn't automatically extend to other areas the law, and perhaps I should say "possesing" rather than simply "viewing." However, if viewing/possesing media of a different sort-- train wrecks for example-- provided the impetus for people to go out and cause more train wrecks, then it would be prudent to takes steps to reduce the demand for train wreck photos. Obviously there could be free speech implications, but that's a dirrerent argument.
I think an apt metaphor would be the limits that are placed on owning dangerous weapons, or toxic materials. Even if a person hasn't actually committed any malfeasance by owning, let's say, a pipe bomb, the risk that is posed that some harm could come elevates his act of possesion to a crime. In the case of "possesion of pedophilia," the "future crime" would not be the risk that the owner would commit some abuse, but that the vendor of the material would, in order to advance in whatever market in which he/she operates.
Actually, I've said that "viewing media of children being sexually abused" is a crime, and I've asked what, in the current context, is the definition of "pedophilia". I agree that if pedophilia is actionless, then it is not a crime.
What's the definition of pedophilia, then? If it involves viewing media of children being sexually abused, then pedophilia is clearly a crime. Anything that creates a market for the sexual abuse of children must be considered a crime-- even if the market's currency is "internet karma."
defined by the bill as real or simulated graphic depictions of physical injuries or physical violence against parties who realistically appear to be human beings
Good thing everyone has the same opinion of what's "realistic" in a video game, or this bill would be absurdly vauge.

This is exactly why you'll never make a good super villian. You think too small.
To qualify you must have a healthy, unused, expendable brain.
